The Society for Princeton Urbanists has been founded and is dedicated to promote and encourage, amongst its members:
- The study, analysis and discussion of topics pertaining to urban studies, such as geography, planning, design, sustainability, architecture and sociology.
- The promotion of such a discussion of urban studies issues on campus and in the New Jersey region through the planning of trips to local cities, guest speaker events, and an online blog documenting such events.
- To form a student forum that can act as a complementary organization for the Program in Urban Studies and the Princeton-Mellon Initiative.
